THE DEATH OF THE FOX. 1787. Grego Vol. I, pg. 222. Hand-colored etching and aquatint, 451 x 573 mm (17.8 x 22.6"), trimmed inside plate mark but outside the decorative border, and laid down on a stiff backing. Excellent impression and color. A few smudges in border. In our impression, the title and publication line have been trimmed off. Instead of being titled in the border, in this case the information was put in below and so is missing in this impression: "Pubd. as the Act directs. Jany. 4. 1787 by J Harris. Dean Street Soho".
