STUDENT AT A TABLE BY CANDLELIGHT. 1642. Bartsch/Hollstein 148, only state; Nowell-Usticke 148i (of iii) – “R - A very uncommon print, usually much worn. Plate not in existence.” Etching on paper with a partial Arms of Amsterdam watermark (see Ash & Fletcher Arms of Amsterdam D.a). A fine impression of this rarity. The tips of three corners repaired, otherwise very good condition.
