Rembrandt van Rijn (1606 – 1669)

CHRIST PREACHING (LA PETITE TOMBE). ca. 1652. Bartsch/Hollstein 67, only state. Etching, drypoint and burin, 155 x 208 mm (6 1/8 x 8 3/16 ”), plus narrow margins.  A fine, velvety “black sleeve” impression on paper with a Foolscap with five-pointed collar watermark (see Ash & Fletcher no. 19). In excellent condition.
