LE PÊCHEUR A LA LIGNE (THE ANGLERS). ca. 1653. Hollstein 26iii (of vi) before the fine projecting lines under the bridge, and the later strengthening of the borderline. Etching on laid paper with an unidentified Shield watermark; 109 x 156 mm (4.25 x 6.14"), trimmed along or just outside the borderline. A very fine impression of this rare state, in good condition except for a little skinning on verso, not affecting the recto.
