L'ENFANT PRODIGUE (THE PRODIGAL SON). 1881. Complete set of frontispiece and four etchings with drypoint, fontispiece 357 x 456 mm (14 x 18"), remainder of set 315 x 375 mm (12.4 x 14.8"), plus full margins. Wentworth 57-61, Tissot 58-62, Beraldi 48-52. Very fine, rich impressions, the frontispiece printed in dark brown ink with plate tone, the inner four printed in black ink, on van Gelder Zonen paper. The four etchings somewhat discolored and slightly foxed in the margins, not affecting the images.
