Milet 66 - 78, The Artist and the Book no. 186, complete
set of 10 etchings with engraving, 202-204 x 238-241 mm (8
- 8 1/16 x 9 1/4 - 9 1/2") plus full margins, printed
on China paper mounted on Arches, with frontispiece, head-piece
and tail-piece (13 in all) in the original wrapper, as issued
in 1931. From the edition of 77, 60 of which were on Arches.
Fine impressions in very good condition.
In Planches de Salut, Marcoussis pays homage to his
favorite writers, such as Baudelaire, Dostoevski,
Rimbaud, Shakespeare, and Gerard de Nerval.
