ARME FAMILIE (POOR FAMILY). 1889. Singer 179 III. Etching, aquatint, and drypoint on imitation Japanese paper, 278 x 194 mm (10.95 x 7.64"). Signed and numbered "15" in pencil. An extremely fine impression in excellent condition. Plate 9 from Vom Tode, Erster Teil (On Death, Part 1). Provenance: Duplicate from the Kunsthalle zu Hamburg (Lugt 1233 & 1235, verso) and with the blind stamp of the George Hirzel Sammlung. Framed.
