THE MOCKING OF CERES (or, CERES SEEKING HER DAUGHTER), after a painting by Adam Elsheimer.1610. Dutuit 6, Hollstein 5, only state. Engraving, 318 x 243 mm (12 1/2 x, 9 9/16”) trimmed outside image and letters, but inside of the platemark. Very good impression, with some short repaired tears, slightly toned.

Watermark: Coat-of-arms with a fleur-de-lys.
