THE REST ON THE FLIGHT INTO EGYPT, after Giulio Campi. 1578. Lewis & Lewis 59i (of v). Engraving, 470 x 319/315 mm (18.5 x 12.5/12.4"), trimmed somewhat unevenly. A fine, rich impression of this rarity, but with flaws: upper left corner replaced and drawn in, flattened folds, and repairs.
Provenance: Unidentified collector's mark on verso: SL or LS in a circle, stamped in pink ink, in a rectangle, and the number 6668 in the rectangle in pencil.
