Albrecht Dürer (1471 - 1528)

THE PRESENTATION OF CHRIST. ca. 1505. Meder 200ii (of iii), from the 1511 edition, with Latin text on verso. Woodcut, 295 x 206 mm (11 5/8 x 8 1/8"), trimmed just outside the borderline. A very good impression from The Life of the Virgin, in good condition, except for a few old hinges on verso.

Provenance: J. Manheimer (Lugt 1840).
