Large double-sided drawing on heavy velin with two subjects:
Verso: FARMER'S DANCE IN HOUSE “IN DEN LÄRCHEN”. 1920. Black charcoal. Signed lower left in pencil “E. L. Kirchner”. Study for a lithograph “Dancing Farm Couple” of 1920 (Dube 394).
Kirchner installed in his house “In den Lärchen” in Frauenkirch a gramophone (phonograph) and held regular dance evenings for his farmer neighbors.

Double-sided drawing, 600 x 495 mm (23 5/8 x 19 1/2), sheet size. Fully signed by the artist “E. L. Kirchner”. Both drawings are in good condition, with traces of atelier wear. Right margin irregularly torn.
