Harris 269 III, first edition, 1877. Etching,
aquatint and drypoint (?), 245 x 355 mm ( 9 5/8 x 14")
plus full margins, printed in dark umber ink on laid paper.
Fine impression in very good condition except for slight toning
and a short thin section along the platemark. From the first
published edition, in L'Art, 1877.
One of the series of four additional plates prepared for
Los Proverbios but unpublished until the late 19th century.
